The Keyes Peak Ski Hill provides downhill skiing, snow tubing, snowshoeing and cross country skiing opportunities. However, this recreational area is not only renowned for its winter recreation. It also provides panoramic viewing from the area’s highest peak in Florence County. It is spectacular in the fall, but definitely breathtakingly beautiful any time of the year. Keyes Peak Steps – Florence County has 168 steps on a trail that is 1/4 mile long with an elevation change of 200 feet!!! Our trail climbs beautiful Keyes Peak Ski Hill. A concrete path starts at Keyes Peak Lodge that leads to a series of wooden steps. Your treat for reaching the top of the hill….. is the picturesque view! You can view Keyes Lake, the Keyes Peak Lodge, and surrounding hardwood forest – it’s simply breathtaking!
